Mysticism, magic and African representations abound un her paintings. This time, the Canadian artist Ileana Ivandic showed her series of paintings named "Basamentos" ("Foundations") en the Museo de Osma, inspired in part by Peruvian culture. The exhibition-sale was done with the support of the Canadian Ambassador, Richard Lecoq, the Museum itself in benefit of CIMA (Centro de Integración de Menores con Amor), and the Comunidad de Niños "Sagrada fAmilia" de Ventanilla.

The exhibition was well-received by local dignitaries and renowned Peruvian artists, including Gerardo Chavez who said, "Ileana Ivandic is a painter who has great strength and creativity. I have been much impressed by the originality and artistic quality of her work."
